Minutes of March meeting read and approved with one addition.
MOTION: To not allow motorcycle parking on long term basis. Passed
unanimously.
Correspondence: Letter from Jack Goodliff regarding Harbourside car stickers and security committee. Letter from Mike DeMarco regarding his three units. All his units are on market. He is living in #4105. Letter from mike Paolone regarding motorcycle parking .
Treasurer’s Report - Dean Boyce. Need to foreclose on liens and apply to receive rents on units being rented per attorney Doak Campbell.
Generator is going to bid and is underfunded.
Investments in mutual funds and $54,000 loss at end of 2008. At end of March loss was $37,000. Small investment committee may be needed.
Manager’s Report - Rick Turner. Bldg. 4 has elevator problems and he is not happy with current contractor. Elevator assessment survey was interrupted and a second company gave price to look at elevators next week. We have a 30 day out on elevator contract.
Rick Turner stated that in response to question regarding financial responsibility for dredging of harbor he discussed issue with the attorney. The attorney advised, after a review of the documents, that the harbor and docks are part of the Common Area and all maintenance should be treated as such.
COMMITTEE REPORTS -
Orientation - Anaka Taylor. Sale #1603 School Gramilich to Astrella for $165,000.
Grounds - Tony Diorio. Meeting wed. 2pm . Agenda to cover tree trimming Bldg. 1 and 2 and re-landscaping from underground pipe work. North wall landscaping by bldg. 3 and 4. New contractor to start May 1 - Baker Landscaping at a savings to Harbourside.
LIGHTING - No report
SOCIAL- Goodbye to snowbirds party Sat. April 18.
RECREATION - Pool gate by Bldg. 4 damaged and then repaired. Likely due to someone not having key to exit pool. Question of using high pole instead of key to exit.
INSURANCE - Two big policies renew in two months.
HARBOR - No wait list and two slots open.
FINANCE - Meeting wed. 10:30 April 15.
BLDG. CAPTAINS - Contractors not cleaning up after jobs.
CLUBHOUSE - No report

ROOF replacement done except small punch list. Now need key to access roof due to new laws and liability. Thanks to Paul Stokes and Bill Abbate for their hard work on this project.
GENERATOR - Dean Boyce. Five bids due in Wednesday. Open bids Thursday.
BUILDING 4 Post Tension complete. To check new paint color work.

Thanks to Arthur Frischman for his service on the Board of Directors and establishing and maintaining Harbourside website.
FISH STATION - Brackets to go on dock side, bring out cleaning station for use and return station to unit.
UNDERGROUND PIPING - Building 1 and 2 work done and inspected.
ROOF RESERVE TRANSFER - MOTION BY Dean Boyce, second Bill Abbate and passed unanimously. MOTION to transfer $325,000to generator reserve to cover the proposed new generators and ancillary work.
DOOR REPLACEMENT - Doors to conform to main building design.
ELECTION results - Dean Boyce and Tony Diorio elected to Board.
BUILDING 2 LOBBY - The planned lobby redo with individual funds is not approved. Lobby was redone three years ago. Time limit on redoing lobby was discussed. Use of paint on process to skid proof tile in lobby was discussed.
POOL HEATER - Heater is shut off.
Insurance mitigation forms in regard to new roof were distributed and will be in the office.
